Archetypes and Fractals

I wonder if anything gets through to us that isn’t at least part of an archetype, or an evocation of an archetype.  If what we see are fractals, and if what we sense or understand from fractals is due to the meaning to us of the underlying archetype could = personal + collective interpretation of [...]

Kaleidoscope Eyes

The body as the playground of the senses has long gotten a bad rap.  All this Puritanical thinking seems to be based on a belief of the Cathars (and the Gnostics) that the physical world is the creation of a lesser, and evil, Maker, and therefore Life in Form is a Bad Thing.
Whadya say we [...]

Got The Time? Are You Sure?

There appears to be a complete breakdown of time measurement in my room today.
Last evening I returned home, tired and hungry, from a cat sitting assignment that lasted a week.  After eating I simply collapsed, waking at 3 a.m. to get out of my day clothes and into my night clothes.  So it must have [...]

How to Grow Up

The hardest thing for humans to do, based on observation and experience, is give up our Victim Act.
We love pointing fingers and blaming outside ourselves for the conditions, internal/external, that we have created.  Being successful at doing this ensures that we never have to grow up, never have to risk giving our gift to the [...]

Apostrophes

An abbreviation for a specific year or a decade is correctly written as follows:  For instance, 1990, abbreviated for the specific year becomes ’90.  An indication of the decade of the nineteen nineties (1990s) becomes ‘90s.
The leading apostrophe stands in for the missing numbers and the ess (s) indicates the plural of the years 1990 [...]

Pretentious Pronunciations

‘Forte’, meaning a strong place inside oneself, over against ‘fort’ a strong place outside oneself.  ‘Forte’ is correctly pronounced fort, not for-tay, and is never correctly spelled with an accent sign over the ee (forté).
Print journalists have a great deal to answer for in the incorrect reconstruction of the American English language. This is one.

Viewpoint / Opinion

Viewpoint is sacred because it is a function of our individuality, which is sacred, being a direct expression of God.
Opinion is a bludgeon, used to be right, and to beat up anyone who doesn’t or won’t submit to our individually-created version of reality.
There is a very great confusion between these two.  Because of [...]

DNA Responds to Feelings

Editor’s Note: The following article was sent to me recently and, unfortunately I do not know the author and cannot therefore give credit.  However, it is profound in its implications.  …Michael Lightweaver
Sandra’s Note:  Ditto Mr. Lightweaver.  This article is too important not to be published however and wherever.
According to author and researcher, Gregg Braden, living [...]

Dan Gibson

Listening to Dan Gibson’s Songbirds at Sunrise (Sunset?).  Previous to today, right this minute, have only listened to this CD (and its companion, Songbirds at Sunrise (Sunset?) ambiently.  Sadly, those experiences were always a disappointment.  As strong as was the longing to hear songbirds, the ambient delivery, to my ears, moved the birdsong to the [...]

The City of Shadow in the Land of Dark Lyght

Julie woke that morning to another day of overcast skies.  She stood at the window in the half-light looking down at her city, the City of Shadow, and tried to remember when she had last seen a few rays of Sun or a brief hint of blue sky.
Turning away, time to get ready for work, [...]
